Accounts Administrator

Overview

It would suit someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a practical, hands-on approach.

This position will appeal to candidates with experience in a busy office environment, ideally within construction, farming, or similar sectors. Experience with Sage is highly desirable, and candidates who have started but not necessarily completed their IATI studies are welcome to apply.

• Processing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions
• Managing timesheets and raising purchase orders (POs)
• Carrying out debt collection activities in a professional manner
• Reconciling transport fuel cards and preparing bank lodgements
• Handling administrative tasks such as taxing/untaxing machinery and ordering stationery
• Assisting with ad hoc tasks to support the smooth running of the office

• Previous experience in an accounts administration role
• Strong IT skills, ideally with Sage accounting software
• Practical background, ideally within construction, agriculture, or a similar environment
• Strong character, able to work independently and take initiative
• Good communication skills with a confident, professional manner
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
