Mint Clinic, a specialist periodontal and implant surgery practice, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Health Care Practice Manager (Dental) to manage day-to-day operations and provide high-level administrative support to our clinical team.
The ideal candidate will ensure a smooth patient journey from consultation to surgery and post-operative care.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage complex treatment schedules for implant and periodontal surgery patients, coordinating consultations, surgery dates, and follow-ups
Act as the first point of contact for patient enquiries — both clinical and financial — in person, by phone, and via email
Prepare detailed treatment plans and cost breakdowns for patients in collaboration with the surgeon
Handle referrals from general dentists and specialists, maintaining accurate logs and correspondence
Maintain and update medical and dental records, ensuring GDPR compliance and confidentiality
Process private insurance, liaising with insurers and patients as needed
Oversee stock management and order surgical supplies, implants, and materials in a timely manner
Support the clinical team with digital charting systems, radiography scheduling, and patient preparation
Ensure compliance with infection control and health & safety policies
Prepare daily reports, surgical lists, and patient intake documents
Maintain a professional, calm, and welcoming environment for patients undergoing surgical procedures
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in dental, or surgical clinic administration (implant/periodontal experience preferred)
Strong understanding of dental and preiodontal terminology and treatment planning
Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time management skills
High attention to detail and professional communication
Competence with Microsoft Office and Dentally software
Experience with patient finance, billing, and insurance processing
Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment- Sector:
