Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and cook high-quality Indian dishes.
Lead and oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.Conduct regular quality checks and taste tests to uphold the highest standards of culinary excellence.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to standards.
Build and nurture a dynamic, startup-minded kitchen team driven by collaboration, innovation, and a shared passion for culinary excellence.
Identify and procure fresh, high-quality ingredients from reliable, approved vendors to maintain consistency and quality.
Oversee inventory levels, reduce waste, and manage stock effectively to ensure cost-efficient kitchen operations.
Implement and maintain HACCP standards and food safety protocols.
Understanding of allergens and experience in seasonal menu development.
Continuously innovate and experiment with new dishes, including festival specials, seasonal offerings, and modern Indian fusion concepts, guided by market trends and customer feedback.
Experience and skills: Preferable 5 years of professional experience in Indian cuisine(restaurant/hotel).
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and regional dishes.Proven ability to lead a kitchen team efficiently.
Key Competencies: Team Leadership – Ability to guide and motivate staff.
Time Management – Works well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.Initiative – Proactive in problem-solving and process improvement.
