Management Accountant - Permanent
Salary: €55,000 - €65,000Location: Dublin 8
Hybrid: 1–2 days per week onsite
We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing organisation in the renewable energy sector. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a hybrid working model with a base in Dublin 8. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is ready to take full ownership of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:
Cashflow & Working Capital Management
Monitor daily cash position and forecast short- and medium-term cashflowManage supplier payments in line with cash availability and business priorities
Oversee effective and timely debtor collections and customer payment discipline
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage creditor terms
Financial Control
Maintain and manage the general ledger and accounting systemsEnsure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
Complete bank reconciliations, journals, accruals, and prepayments
Monthly Management Accounts
Prepare and present monthly management accounts and variance analysisSupport department heads with budget tracking and cost management
Provide commercial insights to inform strategic business decisions
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT and other statutory returnsLiaise with external auditors, accountants, and financial advisors
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and procedures
Team & Process Leadership
Manage a small finance team or outsourced partners, if applicableIdentify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency
Key Requirements:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)5+ years of relevant experience, including 2–3 years in a lead finance role within an SME
Strong grasp of cashflow and working capital in a tight-margin environment
Experience managing high volumes of transactions (e.g., in retail, e-commerce, logistics, or services)
Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage, and confident with Excel/Google Sheets
Hands-on, commercially minded, and solution-focused
Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
Experience with finance system/process improvementsExposure to investor or funding-related reporting
Familiarity with credit control tools and supplier negotiation strategies
