Bar Chef - Co. Kerry

Sky Staffing Solutions is hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Bar Chef in Co. Kerry. This role is ideal for a skilled and organised chef with experience preparing high-quality dishes in a bar or casual dining setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for running the bar kitchen, ensuring efficient service, consistent quality, and a smooth flow during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present bar-style meals such as burgers, sandwiches, platters, and daily specials
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to recipe and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen in compliance with HACCP regulations
• Manage stock levels, minimise waste, and assist with ordering supplies
• Collaborate with bar and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
• Monitor food quality and adjust prep as needed based on service levels
• Contribute to menu updates and new bar food offerings

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Bar Chef or similar role in a high-volume setting
• Strong cooking skills with speed, efficiency, and attention to detail
• Knowledge of HACCP and kitchen safety procedures
• Good communication and team coordination abilities
• Flexibility with working hours including evenings and weekends
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
