Location: Hybrid (Office-based Monday & Tuesday) | Salary: Circa €105-115K+ + Bonus + Benefits
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join a dynamic technology team. Reporting to the Head of IT Architecture, you will play a key role in designing and maintaining secure, resilient, and compliant IT architectures within a hybrid environment.
This exciting position focuses on delivering innovative solutions that blend on-premise infrastructure (Nutanix, HPE Greenlake) with public cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and M365. You will be responsible for driving architectural governance, risk, and compliance frameworks in a regulated setting, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and evolution of technology architecture and target operating models aligned to strategic goals.
- Evaluate and recommend software and hardware standards, including custom configurations.
- Define and promote best practices for hybrid cloud infrastructure environments.
- Support project teams with architectural guidance through all phases of implementation.
- Create comprehensive architecture documentation including solution blueprints, diagrams, and detailed designs.
- Manage architecture governance, including compliance reporting, risk assessments, and adherence to standards.
- Facilitate collaboration across technical and business teams to ensure cohesive enterprise solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across architecture processes and governance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant experience.
- Professional architecture certifications such as TOGAF, IASA Core, or equivalent.
- Technical certifications related to Nutanix, HPE, and Microsoft Azure preferred.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT operations with 3+ years in an architectural or technical leadership role.
- Proven hands-on experience designing hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-prem infrastructure and Azure cloud.
- Strong background in architecture governance, risk management, and compliance processes.
- Skilled in architectural modeling tools such as Archimate.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in regulated industries is a plus but not essential.
- Minimum stamp 4 visa and live within a commutable distance to Dublin
- Competitive salary around €105-115K+
