To provide assistance to the operating department in the transfer and positioning of patients. Preparation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment within the department, in particular, floors and equipment.

Essential Criteria:

• Leaving Cert qualification is required
• Full, clean driver’s licence

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe transfer of patients to/from theatres.
• Responsible for safe transfer of patients on to and off operating table.
• Responsible for delivery of specimens to lab and collection of blood for theatre
• Works closely with all grades of theatre staff to ensure that a high standard of patient care is maintained.

Salary: €35,056 - €39,399
