Application Details
Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.
Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
General kitchen and dining room duties including washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables.Cleaning of the kitchen surrounds and equipment to include all work surfaces, dining furniture, floors and walls.
The transferring of meals to the dining room as requested.
Put drinks in sitting rooms.
Duties as delegated by the chef on duty.
To assist the chef in the preparation of meals if required such as: chopping vegetables, pealing potatoes, making tea/coffee etc.
Follow the kitchen-cleaning schedule as prepared by the chef.To highlight to the chef, any shortfall in the service and suggestions as to how to overcome them.
All necessary paperwork must be completed.
Ensuring stock rooms are clean and tidy at all times.
Check Pest Control report and carryout any requirements.
Receive and check all deliveries as requested.
Attend all training sessions as set out by the Manager.
Adhere to all company policies.
