We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist with a good background in manufacturing, particularly in plastic materials such as APET, and PE. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with food-related laws, industry standards, and customer requirements, while maintaining and enhancing food safety and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with food-related laws, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, including BRC regulations.
Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance policies and procedures within the manufacturing environment.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality control measures are met throughout the manufacturing process.
Monitor customer specifications and ensure all products meet their requirements.
Handle quality-related complaints and implement corrective actions as needed.
Maintain and update documentation related to quality assurance and food safety policies.
Provide training and guidance to employees on quality control processes and industry standards.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure consistent quality performance and continuous improvement.
Adapt to a fast-moving environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining high standards.
Adhere to quality procedures and specifications.
Coordinate the collection and packing of customer samples.
Ensure retain samples are kept and logged for all plastic batches.
Monitor production, highlight and resolve nonadherence to quality procedures and specifications.
Assist in resolving quality-related issues in production (screening of product / decision on product), ensuring issues are documented correctly.
Carry out product audits.
Issue batch documentation including data record sheets, labels, etc., to production upon start-up of production.
Perform product inspection where required.
Carry out production operator training to ensure that operators understand all relevant specifications and procedures.- Sector:
