Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover – 9 Month Contract)

Salary: €60,000 per annum + 10% bonus

About the Role

An established and respected retail organisation is seeking a talented Marketing Manager to join its dynamic team on a 9-month maternity leave contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and results-driven marketer to take ownership of impactful campaigns that deliver real commercial value.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing strategies, managing cross-functional relationships, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.

• Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Plan and deliver a calendar of integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Brand Manager.
• Manage campaign budgets and ensure timely, on-brand execution.
• Conduct market research, brand tracking, and customer segmentation projects.
• Support the Head of Marketing with budget oversight, reporting, and team leadership.
• Mentor and manage team members, supporting their professional growth.
• Coordinate company-wide events such as conferences, awards nights, and seasonal celebrations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments including HR, Operations, Trading, and Food.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing management or senior marketing role, ideally within retail or FMCG.
• Proven experience in marketing strategy development and campaign management.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Commercially minded with budget management experience.
• Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects under pressure.
• Creative, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
• Full Irish driving licence required.
• Enthusiastic and motivated, with a genuine passion for marketing and retail.
