Contract Type Fixed-Term /Part-time
Role To support and assist in the provision of the holistic care and development of all the children in this pre-school setting age range from 2 years to 5 years but with focused duties to help and support children with additional needs in our ECCE class room
Reports to: The Room Leader/ Manager and work closely with them
Duties and Responsibilities Summary [Full List on request]To help and support children with additional needs but also work with all children of the class room.
Perform a variety of tasks, such as nappy changing, toileting, and engaging in play.
To help set goals and document the progress of your key child under the direction and support of the room leader
Person Specifications
Ability to work as part of a team
Kindness, warmth and responsiveness to the needs of children
Good Communication and Relating Skills with children, staff and parents, Fluent English.
Have a sense of humour
Qualification FETAC Level 5 or above in Childcare.
Complete Garda Vetting and References
Working hours: 9.15am -12.15pm Monday to FridayWages: €15 per hour, back week applies.
Holidays: 8% holiday pay paid on hours worked.
Sick Pay: Statutory sick pay applies.
