Construction Planner - Scheduler - Cork City

Projects: 2 Landmark Commercial & Restoration Developments

Our client is a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor with a proven track record of delivering prestigious projects across Ireland. With a strong pipeline of high-profile work, they are now seeking an experienced Construction Planner / Scheduler to join their Cork-based team and play a key role in the successful delivery of two marquee commercial and restoration projects in Cork City.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using industry-standard software (e.g. Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6).
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with design, commercial, and site teams to ensure programme accuracy.
• Report regularly to senior management on project status and performance.
• Contribute to planning input during tender and pre-construction stages.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a planning or scheduling role within a construction or engineering environment.
• Proficiency in Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction processes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work as part of a dynamic team.
