Osborne Recruitment has partnered with a leading organisation in the aviation sector to recruit a Finance Director – a senior leadership role that’s central to shaping financial strategy and supporting growth across the business.This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working at pace, building teams, and making a real impact. You’ll be joining an experienced senior management team and helping to steer a company with ambitious plans for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the finance function, including systems, processes, and a growing teamDeliver accurate and timely management accounts, reporting packs, and board materials
Play a hands-on role in financial planning, analysis and decision-making support
Identify ways to improve efficiency, manage risk, and control costs across the business
Ensure compliance with all statutory, audit, and tax obligations (Ireland and internationally)
Oversee treasury and cash flow management, while supporting long-term strategic planning
Work closely with internal departments and external advisors to align finance with business goals
Skills and Experience:
Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.) with 5+ years PQEExperience in a senior finance role, ideally within aviation or MRO
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to link financials to wider business performance
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow high-performing teams
Skilled in change management, with a track record of improving systems or processes
Excellent communication and influencing skills – comfortable at board level
Highly organised, with a proactive approach and a high standard of professional integrity
