This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Based in the National Maritime Museum in Dun Laoghaire the office administrator role will involve working in the general office attending to day-to-day office duties which will include filing, phone answering, and general office administration.You will also back up the Bookkeeper with basic tasks and help out with mail shots, printing of the Museums Newsletter and managing the membership database.
There is also an opportunity to work with the volunteer running our gift shop with regard to stock levels, ordering and putting new stock on to our Point of Sale system as well as displaying it in the shop.
You will use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access, as well as photocopying, and scanning of documents.
There will be an opportunity for training in areas such as Office Administration, First Aid and Manual Handling.- Sector:
