Administrator/Receptionist (Fixed Term Contract)

We currently have a vacancy for an Administrator / Additional Receptionist based in our Cork Office. This is a Fixed Term Contract.
  • Reporting to the Cork BU Administration Manager

In this role, you will have a lot of variety from covering the Reception Desk when the Receptionist is not available to providing Admin Assistance and supporting the Department doing any other adhoc duties as they arise.

Some of the activities include:

  • Provide reception cover as needed, ensuring the smooth operation of a busy front desk.
  • Welcome and assist clients and visitors to the office in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Issue visitor and contractor security badges in line with company procedures.
  • Capture, print and file staff photographs for identification purposes.
  • Monitor and manage the Cork Admin inbox, responding to or forwarding queries as appropriate.
  • Coordinate couriers, taxis, and meeting room bookings.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and stationery for the Cork office.
  • Deliver general administrative support to various departments, the admin team, and project-related activities, as well as undertake ad hoc tasks as required.
  • · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English, essential due to the nature of the role.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner.
  • Proven experience in meeting and greeting clients and visitors.
  • Friendly, positive, and adaptable approach to work.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively on own initiative.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritisation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (experience considered an advantage).
