The Programmatic Planning Manager is responsible for leading the strategic planning and optimisation of programmatic media activity across a portfolio of clients, including Tier 1 and audited accounts. The role acts as a key liaison between Channel Planning teams, Media teams, and Programmatic specialists to ensure high-quality planning output, innovation, and performance delivery.
The role requires strong strategic thinking, a deep knowledge of digital media and programmatic channels, and the ability to translate data and insights into actionable media plans. The successful candidate will also support process improvement, maintain high standards of accuracy, and contribute to collaboration across teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Delivery
Lead programmatic planning across multiple client accounts, ensuring best-in-class strategy and execution
Develop full-funnel, audience-led programmatic plans aligned with client objectives
Act as the primary liaison for Channel Planning on programmatic activity
Ensure all plans comply with audit standards and best practice guidelines
Use data insights and historical performance to inform planning and optimisation strategies
Contribute to client presentations, QBRs, and campaign reviews
Performance & CommercialSupport effective budget allocation to maximise ROI
Identify opportunities for efficiencies and added value within programmatic campaigns
Align planning strategies with commercial and client goals
Assist in new business pitches and growth opportunities
Innovation & QualityDrive innovation in programmatic channels including CTV, DOOH, and emerging formats
Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and quality across all outputs
Team & CollaborationCollaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery standards
Support team development and contribute to a collaborative working environment
The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital media buying
Proven experience managing programmatic Display and Video-on-Demand campaignsStrong knowledge of programmatic platforms including DV360, Amobee, Google Ads, and Campaign Manager (DCM)
Experience with third-party tracking tools such as DoubleClick (preferred)

€33,000 - €44,000 per annum DOE, Standard working hours are 39 hours per week, full-time role.Hybrid working within the Republic of Ireland
