Gallery Assistant

THE KILDARE GALLERY

Overview:

We are excited to be opening a new art gallery at Kildare Village and are looking for passionate and reliable Sales Assistants. The Kildare Gallery specialises in fine art paintings, sculptures and outdoor garden art and is considered one of Ireland leading art galleries.

This will be the 3^rd gallery we have opened at the Village, and we are looking for enthusiastic team members who share our passion for art and excellent customer service.The role will entail providing outstanding customer service, supporting sales and helping to maintain the smooth day to day running of the gallery.

Responsibilities:

• Represent The Kildare Gallery brand through, professionalism, behaviour and presentation at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service and knowledgeable insights about the artworks and artists we work with to potential buyers. Training will be provided in this area.
• Act as a key holder, with responsibility for opening and/or closing the gallery.
• Maintain a high standard of gallery and artwork presentation.
• Assist with inventory management and display of artworks.
• Support sales, build relationships with customers and create a welcoming gallery experience.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to confidently welcome, assist and engage with visitors to the gallery space.
• Experience in sales, preferably within art or luxury retail sector.
• A strong interest in art and artistic practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible approach to work with availability to work Village retail hours, which includes days, evenings and weekends.
• Available to start in April
