Temporary Accounts Assistant
We are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team on a temporary basis, with the potential for extension for the right candidate. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain further experience in a hands-on finance role, particularly in the lead-up to year-end accounts.
Location: Wilton, CorkSalary: €17 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Input and consolidation of financial data using ExcelBank reconciliation and reconciliation of cash accounts
Preparation of VAT returns
Payroll processing
Responding to finance-related email queries
General administrative and filing duties
Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day tasks
Requirements:
Previous experience in an accounts or finance environment is desirableProficiency in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage 50 and payroll systems (an advantage)
Strong organisational and communication skills
A positive, team-focused attitude
Willingness to learn and take instruction
Full training will be provided
