Medical Scientist - Tipperary University Hospital

Staff Grade Medical Scientist required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for a new opportunity in Tipperary University Hospital with Biochemistry or Hematology experience for 2 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:

• 2 day a week
• Responsible for monitoring consumables and reagent stock supplies associated with the section
• Participate in laboratory meetings, particularly about assessment of performance, development of the service, and organisational changes. Contribute to effective communication within the department.
• To maintain and improve analytical quality in the department by participating in and facilitating of Quality Assurance and Audits

The Candidate:

• Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Medical Scientists Register maintained by the Medical Scientists Registration Board at CORU.
• Permission to work in Ireland
• Professional approach to work
• Flexibility in work practice
