Role Overview

The vision is to develop a strong, professional and client orientated billing organisation delivering value to the business through managing the integrity of the billing chain for all market segments and assuring the quality of customer billing experience.

This role will suit an analytical billing professional, someone who is passionate about what they do.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage processes for reference data changes e.g. number ranges, rates, discounts & promotions
  • Perform Bill Validation for the key billing systems
  • Monitor suspended orders and calls / overdue unbilled charges etc.
  • Run & monitor bill cycle volumes/values
  • Resolve in a timely manner escalated Billing Queries
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place to minimise risk of billing errors
  • Support Billing release deployments and ensure billing functionality supports anticipated customer needs
  • Support Revenue Assurance function - Network Vs Billing/Switch to Bill
  • Support billing projects
  • Monitor bill production, print and post volumes/costs
  • Bill Schedule management
  • Bill Quality
  • Customer Billing Complaints management
  • Business Continuity
  • Non Standard Billing
  • Invoice reconciliation

Person Specification & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years Billing experience
  • Good of knowledge of billing systems and processes and control essential
  • Strong analytical skill set
  • Telecoms industry experience is advantageous
  • Strong proficient in Microsoft office particularly excel
  • Strong experience in large excel datasets
  • SQL experience an advantage
  • Business/technical degree desirable.
  • Revenue Assurance experience an advantage
