Thai and Sea Food Commis Chef/Chef de Partie Loom & Kiln Limited trading as Milk Market Café of 3 Market St, Sleveen, Kinsale, Co. Cork, P17 VY24 is currently looking to recruit a Commis Chef/Chef de Partie with specialty in Thai Cuisine and Sea Food to join its very busy team. Main roles and responsibilities include:
-Producing, preparing, and cooking authentic Thai and Sea Food using fresh and high-quality ingredients in a sanitary and timely manner- To ensure that all menu items are prepared according to menu assembly guidelines & standard recipe and presentation specifications
- Taking a lead role in stock management and rotation including stock ordering and inventory control -Improving and reviewing the Company’s existing menus on an ongoing basis with respect to Thai and Sea Food with the Senior Chef
- Ensuring that the Food Safety Management System is implemented, including the daily temperature schedule. -Assisting in the completion of a weekly store audit and cleaning and organising of kitchen and equipment.
Candidates would be expected to have a minimum of two years relevant experience in working as a Commis Chef/Chef de Partie, or equivalent role.
Experience with authentic Thai Cuisine and Sea Food is also preferable.
Remuneration is €34,000 per annum and 39 hours working week.
