This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected asset manager with deep expertise across fixed income, credit, and alternative markets, known for their collaborative and high-performance culture.

The firm is one of the largest providers of traditional and alternative investment solutions globally, investing across public and private markets. They foster a strong culture built on their CORE values: Collaboration, Openness, Responsibility, and Excellence - values that are evident in everything they do.

The Role:

As a Fund Accounting Manager, you will oversee the fund accounting and administration for a range of European public funds. You'll work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure smooth operational management and excellent service delivery for investors.

You will also play a significant role in supporting broader business development and project initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the European fund accounting function, ensuring operational excellence
  • Respond to internal and external fund accounting queries efficiently
  • Coordinate and review fund dividend distributions, including governance oversight
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors involved in fund administration
  • Support Account Management and Business Development teams on fund-related queries
  • Assist with fund lifecycle events such as launches and liquidations
  • Lead or support various projects focused on process improvement, systems enhancement, and operational efficiency

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in fund accounting within the investment management industry
  • Strong understanding of mutual fund operations (advantageous but not essential)
  • Project management skills and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a client-first approach
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; VBA experience would be a plus
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical capabilities
  • Adaptable and flexible with a strong team-focused mindset
Why Apply?
  • Join a globally recognised investment manager with a strong market reputation
  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performing environment
  • Opportunities to be involved in strategic initiatives and business development
  • Supportive, inclusive culture with strong emphasis on professional growth and development
  • Gain exposure to a broad range of fund structures, strategies, and operational projects
