FRS Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a biologics company in the Mid -West Region to recruit for a QC Specialist . As the QC Specialist you will be participating in and providing subject matter expertise in equipment qualification, method transfer and routine in-process and release testing within the QC labs, in addition to other QC-supporting activities.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Analytical QC professional that is keen to take a step into a unique role where they will work on a range of projects focused on manufacturing of biological products at early phase clinical trials.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the QC Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1 Participate in method validation and or technical transfer execution as needed.- Serve as a technical expert to develop, qualify, validate and troubleshoot HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, PCR and Cell culture assays.
- You will ensure all aspects of QC work comply to GMP standards.
- You will create and approve SOPs, report forms and specifications.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and work history:
- Relevant degree in Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Chemistry.
- 5-6 years min industry experience working in a GMP facility, specifically in a QC department.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with analytical assays such as HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis and PCR.
Hours of work : Days only : 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon -Fri
