The Newpark Hotel are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Café Manager to lead the daily operations of our café Terrace within our 4-star property. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and at least 5 years' experience in a similar role.

A third level degree would be particularly advantageous.

Main Duties:

You will ensure smooth operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and drive profitability.
Plan catering services and direct staff.
Decide on the range and quality of meals and beverages to be provided.
Assess customer requirements for special occasions.
Purchase and direct the purchasing of supplies, arranging the preparation of accounts.
Verify the quality of food, beverages, and waiting service is as required, that kitchen areas are kept clean and appropriate hygiene standards are maintained in compliance with statutory requirements.
Plan and arrange food preparation in collaboration with other staff and organise the provision of waiting or counter staff.
Check that supplies are properly used and accounted for to prevent wastage and loss, and to keep within the budget limit.

Determine staffing, financial, and material or other short/long term requirements.
