Application Details
Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Main Responsibilities: Report directly to the CEO and the Clonakilty Committee.
Identify and assess the needs of the participants we support through consultation with them.Review existing activities and develop activities / courses in conjunction with the operations Committee.
Involve, lead, coordinate and motivate volunteers/facilitators in their delivery of programmes within Resource Centre.
Effectively help manage the day to day running of the Resource Centre.
Provide administrative support to the tenants of the Resource Centre.
Contribute to the development and strategic plans, policy writing, or other working groups as required.
Assist with fundraising activities with the assistance of the operations committee and the CEO.
Submit reports as requested by the CEO, and attend regular meetings as identified.
Establish and maintain contact with the local community and help to promote the centre where possible.
Maintain appropriate records of attendance and the payment of monies for room rental etc.
Undertake duties in connection with the proper receipt, recording and safe keeping of monies within the Centre. Inform centre CEO/Committee of any matters of concern in relation to the welfare of the clients including any concerns regarding the behaviour or practice of volunteers.
Be aware of all guiding documents, policies and their implementation.Order stock and maintain effective stock.
Deal with telephone calls and e-mail communications. Perform all relevant reception duties including meet and greet for the Centre and the Tenants. Ensure that the building is kept tidy and is set up for each activity where possible.
