Line Maintenance Manager New
CPL Dublin
The Line Maintenance Manager is responsible for:
- The overall management of the Line Maintenance Department under EASA Part 145;
- Notifying the Accountable Manager whenever deficiencies emerge which require his attention in respect of finance and the acceptability of standards.
- Ensure Safety Management System reports are review and processed IAW procedures;
- The implementation of the safety policy and human factor issues;
- Identification/implementation of Root Cause, Corrective and Preventive Actions
- or any compliance deficiencies arising from audits;
- Ensuring that all line maintenance including line defect rectification is carried out to the standards specified.
- Ensuring that the organisation's procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance;
- The availability of sufficient competent personnel to plan, perform, supervise, inspect and certify the work being performed;
- Ensuring the competency of all personnel engaged in maintenance;
- Establishing a program of training and continuation training using internal and/or external sources;
- The availability of facilities appropriate to the planned work including hangars, workshops office accommodation, stores as applicable for the planned work;
- Production planning system appropriate to the amount and complexity of the maintenance scope of work;
- The availability of tools, equipment and materials to perform the planned tasks;
- The availability of all necessary maintenance data;
- Recording and notifying any inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous procedure, practice information or maintenance instruction contained in the maintenance data used by maintenance personnel;
- Qualifications for the position
- At least 5 years relevant work experience in the aeronautical industry in an appropriate
- position.
- A relevant aeronautical degree or aircraft maintenance technician qualification (EASA Part
- 66 License)
- Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe
- operating practices.
- Knowledge of the aircraft through formalised training courses.
- Knowledge of maintenance methods.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations both EASA and UK CAA.
