About the Role

FRS Recruitment is partnering with a leading elderly care facility in Limerick to recruit an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This key leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality care for older people in a dynamic and supportive environment.

• Provide strong leadership and management within the nursing team.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and regulations in a nursing home setting.
• Support and develop staff, fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Assist in the implementation of care policies and operational strategies.

• Full registration with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Minimum 3 years post-registration experience caring for older people within the last 6 years.
• Minimum 3 years’ management experience in health and social care.
• Post-registration management qualification in health or a related field, or willingness to commence same.
• Management qualification or Higher Diploma in Gerontology is desirable but not essential.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
• Thorough working knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards in a Nursing Home setting.
