About the Role

You will take ownership of end-to-end warehouse operations while working cross-functionally with IT, HR, customer service, and other key departments. You'll lead strategic planning, inventory control, facilities oversight, and operational performance with a strong focus on driving efficiencies, improving customer service, and preparing the business for future scale.

This role is ideal for a forward-thinking leader with a hands-on approach to warehouse management, who also brings a broader understanding of business operations, automation, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse & Inventory Oversight: Lead warehousing operations with a focus on stock accuracy, space utilisation, and performance improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Manage and align teams across multiple departments to deliver operational excellence and ensure smooth information and process flow.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with business objectives, with a focus on cost-efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Process Optimisation: Use data and KPIs to track performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement best practices.
  • Technology & Innovation: Lead automation and IT projects across the operation, ensuring systems integration enhances productivity and scalability.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and compliance of warehouse and site facilities in line with company standards.
  • People & Culture: Partner with HR to support talent development, onboarding, and performance management; promote a high-performance culture.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Ensure accurate and timely reporting on inventory, operations metrics, and financial performance to support strategic decisions.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or cross-functional operations management.
  • Strong leadership track record in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Skilled in performance management, stock accuracy, and warehouse planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - essential for cross-functional coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience with automation, IT systems integration, or process improvement projects.
  • Financial awareness, with the ability to contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Degree in Business, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
