Operations Manager (Finance & Office Operations)

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Reporting to: Senior Finance Leader

Role Summary

This is a hands-on, standalone operations role responsible for establishing and managing day-to-day operations in Ireland. The role spans office setup and facilities, finance operations, vendor management, IT coordination, and local people operations.

You will act as the primary local contact, working closely with global teams and external providers to ensure smooth, compliant, and scalable operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Facilities
  • Lead office search, setup, fit-out, and ongoing facilities management
  • Manage health & safety, access control, vendors, and office services
  • Oversee contracts, SLAs, renewals, and business continuity basics
Finance Operations
  • Manage vendor onboarding, invoicing, expenses, and local payments
  • Coordinate VAT, statutory filings, audit support, and local compliance with advisors
  • Support month-end and basic accounting processes in collaboration with finance teams
IT & Workplace Technology
  • Coordinate laptop provisioning, access, connectivity, and onboarding with central IT
  • Act as local point of contact for IT service providers and workplace systems
People Operations (Ireland)
  • Support new hire onboarding and right-to-work checks
  • Coordinate payroll inputs and benefits administration with providers
  • Maintain local policies and support employee engagement initiatives
Projects & Improvement
  • Lead startup and operational improvement projects
  • Identify efficiencies, build processes, and support scale as headcount grows
Experience & Skills Required
  • 6–10+ years’ experience in operations, office management, or business management
  • Strong exposure to finance operations (expenses, P2P, basic accounting support)
  • Experience setting up or running operations in a small or scaling environment
  • Proven vendor management and project coordination skills
  • Knowledge of Irish payroll, VAT, and employment practices
  • Highly organised, pragmatic, and comfortable operating independently
Nice to Have
  • Experience in regulated or international environments
