Project Engineer
Experience in civil works for carport systems is desirable but not essential. This role demands a technically excellent professional who can ensure compliance, quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Accountabilities- Manage engineering design and technical execution of Solar PV projects from concept to commissioning.
- Review and approve detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for PV systems.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, EN, and local regulations.
- Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
- Prepare risk assessments, method statements, and quality assurance documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers on scheduling, resource planning, and cost control.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Solar PV engineering and project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of PV system design, grid connection, and electrical protection schemes.
- Familiarity with civil engineering principles for carport structures (desirable).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and MS Project.
- In-depth understanding of relevant standards and codes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
