B2B Marketing Manager EMEA- 14 Month Maternity leave contract - Immediate start

Cpl Marketing are working with a global Software Development company who are seeking a dynamic B2B Marketing Manager on a 14 Month Maternity leave contract This person will be responsible for driving influence, executive engagement, long-term customer relationships, brand awareness, and adoption of the portfolio.

You will collaborate with the account sales team and their customers to help position the company as a strategic partner, drive alignment, visibility, engagement, and our customers' business forward.

Day to day:

  • Collaborate with sales on marketing strategy and customer programs
  • Identify marketing opportunities to intentionally support and drive the business
  • Plan out account-based marketing plans, (including digital campaigns and in-person roundtable events), with clear growth, pipeline and revenue objectives
  • Nurture contacts within the prioritised accounts and engage that audience with innovative, unexpected and intentional marketing to drive account opportunities
  • Implement programs including planning, logistics, budget, list management, follow up and reporting
  • Measure the success of your account-based marketing programs from a contact, pipeline and marketing investment perspective
  • Work with a broader organisation of account-based marketers to share ideas and align on campaigns which apply to enterprise accounts
  • Work with an agency to develop relevant content to support the ABM strategy, including customer stories & blog articles, event speaker opportunities, eBooks and research whitepapers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field with 5+ years in B2B marketing role
  • Advanced copywriting and editing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and consultative input to sales team
  • Experience originating fresh creative ideas in an account-based marketing capacity to support sales goals, validating those ideas with partners and carrying them through to execution
  • Direct customer-facing experience in account-based, field marketing role
  • Executive engagement and event management experience
  • Team player able to work cross-functionally
