Fully Qualified/Part Qualified Practice Accountant New

Overview

A well-established accountancy practice in Kerry is seeking a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CPA) with strong practice experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services.

This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting junior staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review year-end financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

Manage tax compliance including Corporation Tax, Income Tax, VAT, and PAYE

Liaise directly with clients to provide advice and resolve queries

Oversee bookkeeping and payroll work prepared by junior team members

Prepare management accounts and financial reports as required

Ensure compliance with Revenue, CRO, and regulatory deadlines

Support the implementation of cloud accounting systems where applicable

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice
• - Excellent knowledge of Irish tax and financial reporting standards
• - Proficient in cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, Surf, Sage, QuickBooks)
• - Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
• - Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines
