Care Support Worker | Intellectual Disability Services | Nenagh, Co. Tipperary
Salary: €38,000 – €52,000 (DOE)Hours: Full-time
Contract: Fixed-term with potential for permanency
Consistent Support in a Structured Care Environment
This role is suited to Care Support Workers who want to work in a structured, person-centred service supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
You’ll be part of a service focused on:

This is practical, relationship-based support work where reliability, professionalism and person-centred care are central to daily practice.
What You’ll DoSupport individuals with intellectual disabilities in daily routines and activities
Encourage independence through practical, consistent support
Assist with community participation and everyday engagement
Build positive, professional relationships based on trust and respect
Deliver person-centred support aligned with individual care plans
Work within HIQA standards, safeguarding policies and structured procedures
Collaborate with Social Care Workers and multidisciplinary teams
What You’ll NeedRelevant qualification in Social Care, Healthcare Support or related discipline preferred
Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or similar care settings
Consistent, reliable and people-focused approach
Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional care standards
Manual Handling & First Aid (in date or willingness to update)
