Assembly Team Leader - County Sligo.

Job Responsibilities :

 •  The Assembly Team Leader will be responsible for his / her area and be accountable for all aspects of the team’s performance.
 •  To organise, task manage, plan and prioritise.
 •  Headcount management.
 •  To provide training cross training, multi-skilling, job-rotation.
 •  To conduct recruitment and induction.
 •  Ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements are maintained.
 •  Production planning to meet customer demands.
 •  To guide others to problem solve by teaching / advising / guidance.
 •  Conduct troubleshooting support and root cause analysis.
 •  To provide hands-on support.
 •  Ensure good communication is maintained with direct reports as well as senior management.
 •  Ensuring progress is monitored, problems and solutions are both identified and recorded.
 •  Inventory control.
 •  Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
 •  Deputise for Production Manager when necessary.

Interested applicants should have :

 •  At least 2-5 years’ experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
 •  Strong people leadership, interpersonal and communication skills are required.
 •  Knowledge and experience of materials / inventory planning systems.
 •  Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
 •  Skilled in the use of lean principles, 5S, Kaizen, Waste elimination, Green Belt is advantageous.
 •  The ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet tight deadlines.
