As an Apprentice Metal Fabricator, you will work closely with our team of experienced metal fabricators to learn the art of transforming raw materials into high-quality metal products. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with measuring, cutting, and shaping metal materials according to specifications.
• Operating a variety of hand and power tools, such as saws, grinders, and welding equipment.
• Learning different welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and drawings.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure timely completion of fabrication projects.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
Junior Certificate or GED equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the field of metal fabrication.
