Exiting new opportunity for a Lead Design Manager to join a well-established award winning company!

Position: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: A competitive salary of up to £40k per year

Our Client is an innovative M&E Engineering Consultancy who are seeking a Design Manager to join their Dublin office due to unprecedented growth.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Lead and manage the design department, ensuring all engineering projects are executed with precision and align with company goals.
 •  Develop and implement innovative design strategies to enhance the functionality and efficiency of engineering solutions.
 •  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, production, and project management, to ensure design specifications are integrated throughout project lifecycles.
 •  Oversee the design process from conceptualization to final execution, including drafting, prototyping, and testing.
 •  Ensure design practices adhere to industry standards and compliance regulations.
 •  Mentor and support design team members, fostering a creative and collaborative work environment.
 •  Manage design resources, timelines, and budgets efficiently to meet project objectives and deadlines.
 •  Present design visions and progress updates to stakeholders and executive management.

Required Experience:

 •  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field.
 •  Professional experience of at least 5 years in design management, preferably in an engineering-focused industry.
 •  Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team of creative professionals.
 •  High proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering design tools.
 •  Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about design and development.
 •  Proven track record of managing complex design projects from inception to completion.
 •  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey ideas and engage with various stakeholders.
 •  Knowledge of current industry trends, technologies, and standards in engineering design.
