About us:

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance (PAM) Ireland Ltd is Ryanair’s first heavy maintenance facility in Ireland. Established in 2022 the company supports the maintenance of Ryanair's growing Boeing 737 MAX and NG fleet and is located in a 3-bay hangar in Shannon, Co.
Clare. The facility employs highly skilled aircraft engineers, mechanics, and support staff.

The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within PAM Ireland for a Quality Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Quality Manager the successful candidate will join a team join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

 •  Active participating in daily activities of the Shannon Quality Department.
 •  Ensuring that policies, procedures, and processes are aligned with regulatory and customer requirements.
 •  Supporting the analysis of reported occurrences.
 •  Support, conduct and facilitate internal and external audits.
 •  Conducting reviews, gap analysis, creating and implementing corrective action plans.
 •  Continually assessing regulatory requirements to ensure, as a minimum, compliance is maintained.
 •  Support various quality related activities including continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

 •  Bachelor's degree in quality, engineering or equivalent discipline and/or significant experience working in an Aircraft Maintenance & Repair Organisation.
 •  Knowledge of quality and continuous improvement tools/techniques.
 •  Ability to plan and work to deadlines and on own initiative.
 •  The ability to adapt to change quickly with a can-do attitude.
 •  Knowledge of EASA regulations relating to Aircraft Maintenance & Repair, operation, engineer licencing & certification or willing to learn.
 •  Excellent spoken and written English.
 •  MS Office suite experience.
