Position : Quality Technician Location : County Monaghan Salary : €25,000 - €35,000 per annum Exciting Opportunity : Quality Technician in County Monaghan (Food Processing)! About the Role : We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join a renowned food processing company in County Monaghan.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to maintaining high-quality standards in food production. Key Responsibilities : Conducting quality inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Monitoring and recording data related to product quality, process parameters, and environmental conditions. Identifying and documenting non-conformities and assisting in the investigation of quality issues to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Participating in HACCP and food safety programs, including monitoring critical control points and ensuring adherence to GMP standards.
Assisting in the maintenance of quality documentation, including SOPs, batch records, and quality records. Providing support during customer audits and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications and Skills : Diploma or degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field. Previous experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the food processing industry is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP principles, and GMP regulations. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
