Role Title: Head of International Business Support

Summary of the role:

EXL is establishing a headquarters for international business in Dublin led by the SVP International (SVPI). The International team structure comprises International Leadership for each of our Business Units and a number of global Centers of Excellence (CoEs) together with enabling function leaders across Finance, HR, Legal and Procurement.
The CoEs are being established across our operations to streamline management and enable the business to develop best practices to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.

A critical role in the planning and management of the International business is International Chief of Staff who will be based in Dublin reporting to the SVP International.

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

 •  Playing a pivotal role in the setting up and functioning of the International HQ (IHQ) comprising 5 x lines of business leaders, 5 x Centres of Excellence and enabling function leadership.
 •  Supporting SVPI in planning for and facilitating ongoing IHQ meeting cadence – weekly/ monthly leadership team meetings and sales opportunity reviews, quarterly strategy planning meetings and quarterly business reviews.
 •  Collaborating with CEO’s office in defining and ongoing reporting of OKRs for the International Business.
 •  Collaborate with the BU Growth Offices in planning and executing on accelerated International growth.
 •  Working with FP&A team in preparing annual and quarterly International budgets.
 •  Working with Finance and Tax teams in the preparation of annual submissions for Government/IDA grants and Corporation tax reliefs.
 •  Working with FP&A teams in developing and maintain relevant business management reporting of KPIs, providing financial and analytical insight to International BU leaders and proactively highlighting challenges.
 •  Conducting strategic and market research and developing an in-depth understanding of our business and external market forces to timely refine the strategy and continue to execute on same.
 •  Driving and overseeing the progress of multiple key strategic projects.
 •  Proposing new ideas and suggesting improvements for existing business strategies to drive growth.
 •  Supporting the preparation of strategic business cases and presentation for leadership.
 •  Defining problems and strategic solutions - scoping, analyzing, preparing, and presenting strategy checks.
 •  Managing and contributing to strategic projects utilizing problem-solving frameworks. E2E program managing multiple tasks and projects to ensure timely completion and seamless execution.
 •  Stakeholder management: building and nurturing strong advisory relationships with key external and internal stakeholders including influencing executives.
 •  Significantly improve the effectiveness of the strategy, growth & sales enablement, operations, and overall business results for EXL’s global Insurance business, by working closely and collaborating with business leaders across EXL’s International business and enabling functions.

Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:

 •  8+ years’ tenure with strong understanding of financials, strategy, data analysis, program management and stakeholder management.
 •  Demonstrated experience and knowledge of strategic problem solving and frameworks, and project management skills.
 •  Ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and influence people of a diverse range of backgrounds.
 •  Experience in applying strategic frameworks and tools for analyzing strategic problems and developing strategies.
