The Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to the Glenveagh finance department. They will assist in the preparation of budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the company. The Finance Analyst will also be responsible for analysing financial data and providing insights to management to aid in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
 •  Interact with various functions and participate in developing quarterly and annual forecasts, budgets, reporting, and other financial modelling that will help drive business decisions
 •  Monthly close and group reporting activities
 •  Assist in the automation and preparation of cashflow forecasting and management reporting
 •  Perform monthly financial analysis with a focus on construction cost trends and variances
 •  Prepare and develop financial reports and templates to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan
 •  Assist in the development of metrics and scorecards to track performance against plan to facilitate a data driven review of Company performance
 •  Conduct analysis as necessary in support of key business metrics and objectives
 •  Prepare presentations to communicate the results of analysis and reporting for budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning
 •  Overseeing and maintaining aspects of the main reporting system
 •  Assist the FP&A Manager in performing other related tasks as required
 •  Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders
 •  Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time

Requirements
 •  A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
 •  Experience in financial modelling, financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting and/or business partnering
 •  Advanced MS Excel skills and a proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications including Word and PowerPoint
 •  Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance
 •  The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, where necessary
 •  Strong problem solving, analytical and organisational skills
 •  Can work independently and to their own initiative
 •  An aptitude for displaying data visually in an effective manner
 •  Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
 •  Experience of creating dashboards in Power BI an advantage
 •  Experience of Microsoft Navision, Dynamics and/or Solver preferred but not essential
 •  Experience working in the property or construction sector desirable but not essential
