Key Account Manager

Due to ongoing growth and recent expansions into the U.S and Europe, we are currently seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team.
Based in the company's Cork office, the Key Account Manager will report and work closely with the Business Development Senior Manager. Travel predominantly in Munster & Leinster
Role Purpose
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with key clients to drive revenue growth, ensure customer satisfaction, and deliver long-term value. This role involves working closely with the Business Development Manager to align account strategies with overall business objectives.
- Key Responsibilities
- Account Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts.
- Build strong relationships with key resources onsite.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Understand client needs and objectives to deliver tailored solutions.
- Business Development:
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts and cross-sell products/services.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to develop account plans and strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.
- Performance & Reporting:
- Monitor account performance and ensure achievement of revenue targets.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, forecasts, and market trends.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to improve service delivery.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with Recruitment & TA, Operations, and project teams to ensure client requirements are met.
- Support the Business Development Manager in strategic initiatives and new business pitches.
- Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably in the Life Sciences industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
