Osborne is delighted to partner with a leading organisation based in Dublin 7 to recruit a Finance Team Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to take on a leadership role, managing a small team within a collaborative and mission-driven environment.
About the Finance team Lead
As Finance Team Lead, you will oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial transactions. You will also contribute to the month-end close, support the audit process, and play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Salary: €60,000
Responsibilities of the Finance Team Lead
Prepare and review routine monthly journals including accruals and prepayments.Manage and maintain financial systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Oversee the preparation of management accounts for subsidiary entities.
Lead the AP and AR teams to ensure transactions are processed and reconciled accurately and on time.
Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close activities.
Support audit processes through preparation of reconciliations, schedules, and documentation.
Monitor and enforce financial controls in line with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Provide mentorship and support to finance team members to encourage ongoing development.
Assist senior finance leadership in system upgrades and continuous process improvements.
Produce ad hoc financial reports and analysis to support business decision-making.
The Ideal Finance Team Lead
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and reporting standards.Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar finance role, ideally with leadership responsibilities.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or SUN.
High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
Experience leading and developing finance team members.
