Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Business Support Executive / Recruitment Administrator to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the office while ensuring compliance, administration excellence, and a seamless experience for candidates and clients.

This role sits at the heart of the office and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and working in a busy people-focused environment.

The Role

The Business Support Executive is responsible for supporting recruitment operations, office administration, compliance and internal reporting while acting as a central point of coordination across the team.

You will work closely with consultants, management and candidates to ensure processes run efficiently and regulatory standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Administration Support

Provide administrative support to recruitment consultants across multiple departments.
Format CVs, prepare candidate documentation and support client submissions.
Post and manage job advertisements across job boards and internal platforms.
Assist with candidate screening, reference checking and onboarding administration.

Maintain accurate candidate and client records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Compliance & Internal Audit

Manage temporary workforce compliance documentation ensuring full regulatory adherence.
Conduct weekly compliance and internal audits.
Track onboarding documentation including right-to-work checks and required certifications.

Ensure company procedures and recruitment compliance standards are consistently followed.

Reporting & Systems

Produce weekly KPI and operational performance reports for management.
Maintain database accuracy and reporting integrity across systems.

Support optimisation and upkeep of ATS records and candidate files.

Office & Team Support

Act as first point of contact for candidate and client queries both in person and via phone/email.
Manage reception and front-of-house operations including visitor management.
Coordinate office administration including post, supplies, vendors and facilities.
Support annual leave coordination and workload planning within the Business Support team.

Assist with onboarding and training of new team members where required.

Team & Operational Coordination

Support weekly team meetings and workflow coordination.
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiencies.

Provide general operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day office performance.

About You:

Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in administration, recruitment administration, customer service or sales support.
Experience working in a fast-paced or high-volume environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly around compliance and documentation.
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and database systems.

Experience using recruitment or CRM systems is advantageous.
