Morgan McKinley is delighted to be working alongside a global leader in infrastructure engineering seeking a skilled and ambitious Instrumentation and Controls Engineer with exposure to working on contruction or industrial sites.

The Role
  • Installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting on PLCs, HMIs, and control panels.
  • Working on process control systems within industrial or utility environments.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with technical specifications.
  • Ensuring all works are completed in line with electrical and safety standards.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Fully Qualified Electrician - National Craft Certificate (Electrical and/or Instrumentation) is essential.
  • Minimum 5 years' electrical experience in a process commissioning role.
  • PLC & HMI programming experience highly desirable.
  • Experience in the water industry or process environments a distinct advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a proactive, safety-first mindset.
