Our Client, an Educational Institution is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant on a temporary Full-Time contract for one month.
Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced individual to provide targeted administrative support for enhancing our Milestone Video Management System (VMS). The primary objective of this role is to map all installed CCTV cameras onto the platform’s interactive site map using GPS coordinates.This includes accurately positioning each camera and configuring its viewing angle to reflect actual on-site coverage.
The outcome of this project will be a comprehensive visual representation of all camera locations and their respective fields of view, greatly enhancing situational awareness and improving our operational response capabilities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our Security Technology partner, who will deliver training and provide ongoing guidance throughout the project
- Review and verify the current inventory of CCTV cameras already integrated into Milestone.
- Accurately position each camera on the Milestone site map(s), based on floor plans, building layouts, and site drawings.
- Configure the viewing angle overlays for each camera to reflect actual coverage areas.
- Ensure camera names, locations, and viewing directions are standardised and easily identifiable.
- Collaborate with relevant teams (Security, IT, Facilities) to confirm map accuracy and alignment with operational zones.

Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT consulting, systems implementation, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to quickly learn and work within complex platforms (training in Milestone will be provided).
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans, maps & GPS coordinates, network diagrams, and technical schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow configuration standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with both technical and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in basic documentation and version control
- Skills Required:
- Understanding of IT networking principles, especially IP-based devices
- Ability to translate technical requirements into user-friendly visual configurations
- Experience coordinating or delivering scoped technical projects under client supervision.
