Cpl Recruitment is currently seeking an HR Officer to join a public sector organisation on a 6-month full-time temporary assignment, based in South Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a values-driven, high-performing HR department in a key regulatory body.
The HR Officer will report directly to the HR Manager and support a broad range of HR activities, including HR administration, recruitment, employee relations, policy development, and learning and development. This role is ideal for a proactive HR professional looking to gain diverse experience in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Firstline HR support and mailbox management
- Recruitment support across all stages of the hiring process
- Accurate maintenance of HR personnel files and HRIS data
- Payroll administration support and HR communications
- Assistance with policy reviews, audits, and compliance
- Supporting learning and development initiatives and reporting
- Time and attendance system maintenance and issue resolution
- Contributing to HR reporting and continuous improvement projects
Requirements:
- CIPD qualification in Human Resource Management
- 1+ year's experience in a fast paced HR role
- Strong admin, communication, and organisational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Comfortable managing sensitive data in line with GDPR
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders
- A proactive and solution-focused mindset
- Knowledge of Irish employment law and public sector HR practices
- Familiarity with digital HR systems and records management
