Trainee Company Secretary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Company Secretary looking to commence their career in top tier law firm.
A&L Goodbody’s specialist secretarial company Goodbody Secretarial Limited has provided professional and dedicated company secretarial and compliance services. We have a highly experienced and qualified company secretarial team of chartered secretaries and company secretarial assistants.
As a Trainee Company Secretary, you will work within the Corporate department and we offer the successful candidate an exciting role in a high achieving department that comes with variety and responsibility.
You can expect to receive excellent training from a close team of experienced Company Secretaries in the application of company law and company secretarial practice from the moment you begin your career with us. Responsibilities- Preparing and filing Companies Registration Office documents.
- Attendance at meetings and preparing minutes for review.
- Maintaining a small portfolio of clients.
- Update Company Secretarial software package – particularly the statutory registers.
- Filing of documentation with Companies Registration Office.
- Assisting with the legalisation of documents.
- Working with the Managers on special projects.
- Assisting senior members of staff with ad-hoc company secretarial requests
- University of College degree (2.1 honours degree minimum)
- The candidate must be currently or interested in pursuing a Chartered Secretarial professional qualification (ICSA: The Chartered Governance Institute).
- Some experience of the area would be beneficial but not essential. Ideally 6 months experience in an office environment.
