We are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join an established organisation on a part-time, fixed-term basis. This role offers excellent flexibility across the working week and is ideal for a detail-oriented payroll professional seeking a balanced schedule.

This position sits within the Finance function and works closely with People & Organisation and external payroll providers to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare and validate payroll inputs and review outputs
  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
  • Ensure all statutory filings are completed in line with Revenue requirements
  • Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries
  • Support payroll audits, reporting, and process improvements
  • Administer and implement employee benefits
  • Maintain share scheme records and complete annual returns
  • Support regulatory reporting (e.g. Gender Pay Gap, CSO, EU transparency)
  • Assist with annual reward processes and compensation reporting
  • Prepare payroll and HR-related reports and metrics
  • Support HR systems and database management

About You:

  • 3+ years’ payroll experience
  • Strong understanding of Irish PAYE, taxation, and payroll compliance
  • Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • High integrity and commitment to regulatory standards and best practice
