Construction Solicitor - 0-1 Year PQE
A leading full-service commercial law firm, headquartered in Dublin, is seeking a Construction Solicitor at the 0-1 year PQE level to join its growing Projects, Infrastructure, and Energy team. With a team of over 200 professionals and a history spanning more than two centuries, the firm is recognised for its strong client relationships, progressive culture, and commercial focus.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or early-career solicitor to join a highly regarded team, work on high-profile matters with both domestic and international clients, and develop a career in a dynamic and expanding practice area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on a broad range of construction-related matters across transactional, advisory, and contentious workstreams
- Drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke construction agreements, including building and engineering contracts, development agreements, professional appointments, collateral warranties, and related documentation
- Providing practical legal advice on contract interpretation, claims, health and safety obligations, and building regulations
- Representing clients in dispute resolution processes such as adjudication, conciliation, mediation, and arbitration
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering high-quality legal services as part of a collaborative team
- Staying informed on developments in construction and infrastructure law and attending relevant industry events and seminars
- Contributing to internal knowledge sharing and the development of legal precedents
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 0-1 years' post-qualification experience, with a genuine interest in construction law, infrastructure, and development projects (prior experience in construction law is desirable but not essential)
- Strong academic background and excellent drafting and analytical skills
- Exceptional communication and organisational abilities, with the capability to manage multiple priorities
- Commercial acumen and a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach to legal problem-solving
