National Account Manager
Overview:
We have an excellent opportunity to join Birds Eye as a National Account Manager for Discounters in Ireland and International Exports, accountable for the planning and delivery of a profitable growth plan within the Birds Eye, Aunt Bessies and Goodfella’s brands.
Utilising category and consumer insight to influence the customer and delight the shopper at points of purchase to achieve key business targets
Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for planning and delivering business plans, utilising consumer insight to achieve key business targets. This will be done by full implementation of the corporate calendar and negotiation of trading terms across all categories within the channels.
Responsibilities:
- Generating consumer business plans (JBPs).
- Developing profit-based account plans and budgets including identifying the customer’s key volume and profit drivers.
- Managing P&L of up to €20m.
- Monitor promotions and work closely with RGM and Commercial Finance to report real time learnings.
- Driving visibility and availability of Birds Eye SKUs within the customers.
- Identify new business opportunities within the channel.
Qualifications:
We need a driven and experienced commercial professional with experience of the Irish market, as well as managing discounters and exporters.- FMCG Sales / Account Management experience essential.
- Experience of Discounters in Irish market essential, with export experience preferable.
- Comfortable managing a P&L.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and proactive in communication.
- Understanding of teamwork and promoting high performing behaviours.
